I NEED MORE SLEEP! Everyday when I wake up I am always tired and groggy. I feel as though I never get a “refreshing” night asleep and wake up fully alert. Sometimes it takes me a cup of coffee to get going in the a.m.
The funny thing is is while I write this blog, I am up at 12:51 a.m. while I could already be in bed getting some precious Z’S. What is it that keeps me from going to bed at a set time? Not being tired in the evening, taking naps longer than 20 mins. during the day, having different sleeping patterns through out the week, etc.
Though these are all reasons for me not getting enough rest, I feel like these are just excuses. If I really want to take care of myself and even live longer, I have to start getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep every night.

isn’t so much anymore. Recently I found out that I will be graduating in the spring of 2010 and even though that may seem far, it’s really not.
I always thought it would take me forever to graduate college but thank goodness it’s not. This is why:
My freshmen year (starting in 2005) I attended West Chester University majoring in Physical Education. While I was there, I realized during the middle of the year I absolutely didn’t like it. There were many things that contributed to this, such as being away from home, not meeting the right kind of people and not always being in such a great mood. If I was going to a school for $19k a year and I didn’t like it, I decided it would be best if I left. Plus I really don’t think I was mentally ready to leave when I did (I had some growing up to do).
When I transferred back home for the start of the fall ‘06 semester I stuck with the major I had chosen previously. At that time I still had my heart set on being a P.E. teacher. When I began taking more classes at my community college, I began to realize that I really didn’t want to P.E. but I still loved sports. I figured I would finish up my last year there, earn my associate degree and transfer to another school where I could switch my major to Psychology (I now want to be a Sport Psychologist).
Now that I have transferred to Stockton College, I never thought I would see the light at the end of the tunnel. I kept my fingers crossed and hoped that I would only graduate a year behind and now my wishes have been confirmed. My preceptor told me that I will be graduating in 2010 with the rate I am going at for sure.
I know I stressed over that one year and really no one ever graduates on time (okay, unless you def. stuck with your major from the beginning), but really I am glad I’m only a year off. Honestly I know many people that are in college for many years or go back to college after taking some time off/to finish their degree/to change careers (and I definitely commend them for that) but I personally don’t think I could do that.
So in reality, after this semester I only have three more to go (and one online class over the summer) and I will be done!
..grad school is a completely different story hahah.

to save money? Probably because we need it for EVERYTHING! The world has become so expensive and unfortunately, I don’t see it getting better any sooner =/
So yes, I would like to start saving my money and making a budget. This way, I can see what I truly spend my money on and try to save some where I can.
It would definitely be nice to have money to spend on my loved ones for holidays, birthdays, etc. Not only do I see it important in that aspect, but I know saving and budgeting my money will help me grow up even more and become more responsible. This goal has to be achieved if I obviously want to support myself and others in my life in the future.
