get a tattoo that has a significant meaning

I would like to get something to remind myself of the two years I spent abroad, but I’m so wishy washy when it comes to designs; I have been changing my mind for years about what kind of tattoo I want. Something simple would probably be best. But is it too late to get a tattoo to commemorate something that happened over a year ago? Seems kind of silly to do it now rather than getting it done when I was over there. Maybe I will wait until I go overseas again and then choose something. That will probably make it more special.

My mom has been speaking ukrainian to me for the last little while and I think I’m picking up some little phrases pretty fast. There’s no way I could have a conversation or anything right now, but I’m definitely recognizing a lot more of the words that she says. If only I’d learned when I was younger!!
