after 1 1/2 years of lessons (why rush?) I’ve taken the big step and bought a beautiful new set of Gibson bagpipes!

For now, the drones are corked while I master the bag… but each time I open one drone for that real Highland sound. Making slow progress but having lots of fun.

I regularly cruise MLS and have looked at lots of property over the last few years… seems like my ideal property doesn’t exist, unless it costs too much.

I’m hoping prices come down some….

This has been the hardest thing I’ve come across in learning the bagpipes. My teacher saw I’d taught myself to do it all wrong… so it was back to square 1. My (rather short) fingers just couldn’t do the “tap-and-draw” but eventually made some progress on the “pinky slide”. Very tough!
