My job search has been put on hold, temporarily. I’m now enrolled in school, and attending full time to further my education. I’m still keeping my eyes open for opportunities, but I won’t be full-time job hunting until after I graduate.

I did get accepted into the gov’t program I was attempting to a month ago (see: my last entry). After a couple of false startsc(administrative issues), I finally started school on August 1st. I’m enrolled in a Computerized Accounting course, and should graduate by the end of the year with a certificate in accounting.
I am attempting to get into college, to take an accounting/bookkeeping program. I have a meeting this Friday, with a gov’t agency to see if they will pick up the tab for the classes. (fingers crossed) I’m not 100% that this is what I want to do, career-wise, but at least getting the accounting certificate will help me get a better paying job while I figure out what I do want to do.
I’m also being encouraged to take classes in photography, to improve my skills. I love taking pictures, and I really would enjoy learning more to improve.
