I cut down on caffeine quite successfully for a while last year, and had the water thing going well too. I need to check what my water bottle holds, but basically I’m aiming to be more hydrated, not a specific number of millilitres or anything. I’m planning to finish a bottle:
by break time
by lunch time
by the end of the school day
by the time I go home
and then one or two at home.
It may not be as much as recommended, but it will be a lot more than I’m drinking now.

How I did it: I was drawing a soul tree from a single line each day. Then I would write a page of journaling, in pencil so that it wouldn't conflict with the pen drawing. So we took our trip to Japan, and I was able to make myself understood, mostly restaurant Japanese. It was appreciated by a lot of the people I met, and their attitude toward me changed for the better in response to my efforts.
I’ve also finished learning to read the hiragana. Next step, learning to write them, and continuing with my studies using hiragana rather than romaji. Also starting the katakana…
I have cleared about a cubic metre of clutter this weekend. I have a lot of paper clutter to get rid of this week.
