How I did it: I got the Caca Marron from LUSH, and did a strand test like a good girl. Be warned. just like gauge swatches, STRAND TESTS LIE. How it looks in a cute curl will not be how it looks on your head. Having got what I thought would be a darkish coppery, I mixed up the henna, slapped it on and then wrapped it in cling film to bring out the redder tones. Well, I think I’m starting on this. I bought Michel Thomas’ Italian Foundation cheap at Borders, and since then I’ve got to the end of the first CD. I can say simple little things like ‘non lo so’ ’ I don’t know’ and so on, though I ‘m not so good at writing it down. Still, it’s a start.

see a ghost
An odd one 5 months ago

but basically I’m curious. Ghosts are often taken to be proof positive that we live on after death, and I’ve heard a lot of people swear that they’re imagined, or a electromagnetic impression in the atmosphere like a weird kind of tape recording, or truly a person returned from the otherworld. I just want to see for myself so I can decide what I think about it.
