More and more lately I have been working on my posture, or just standing up straighter. Today we had a ceremony for anyone who got into the French (me) or Spanish Honors Societies at my school, and I was next to a ridiculously tall guy (as usual) at my school. I realized how atrociously small I would seem in comparison to this giant of a person, so I stood up straighter than usual, without even thinking.

Being in high school and all, I know that I will be writing a myriad of papers and essays in the next couple of years. I know that I have the capability to write, but I can never think of good words. Word choice has always been a problem with me, and I know that I could be doing so much better, thus I decided to read the dictionary, a feat which I also said I would do in middle school but never got around to doing.
I have an annoying habit to slouch all the time, which makes me seem a couple inches shorter than I truly am, which for a teenage guy who is already on the short side, is not the best thing. My parents constantly nag me about my posture and so I made it one of my goals.
