Got a literal truck load of no-longer-needed-by-me stuff loaded and ready to go donate to a nearby thrift store. Swept off the back porch after I got the truck loaded.. it already feels (and looks) SO much better out there. There’s a little room left; I’m going to take a break for lunch and then look around to see what else can go in this load.

It’s really not as hard as you’d think. A decent sewing machine (don’t need a fancy one) and the Reader’s Digest Complete Guide to Sewing and have at it. Couple of tips – Don’t buy cheap thread, and change the needle in the machine after EVERY project. Seriously. Oh yeah, have fun!
