Teaching since '84

Worth it. Taught ESL in Thailand ‘84 – 90; in Seattle ‘91 – ‘02; High School English ‘03 – present. I can’t imagine doing anything else (well, OK, maybe WRITING :) Nothing else strikes me as having the depth of meaning or importance—especially now that I’m in the public schools. There are LOTS of days where I think anything has to be better (the custodians always seem so cheerful in my building:), but I keep coming back. Check out my website for a looksee: http://aos-english.squarespace.com (or just Google “mr white english” and look for “English, Life, The Universe, and Everything”).
