I don’t look skeletal or unwell, but I got a shock when I stepped on the scales for the first time in months. My BMI is just 17 and I’m too embarrassed to say what my weight was. I’m not restrictive when it comes to food and I haven’t got any problems with it. There’s very little info available on how to gain weight, so I’m going to research it now..

I’ve set myself regular mealtimes, and started hydrating myself more, as I read that sometimes thirst is mistaken for hunger. It seems to be working; I’m barely snacking at all now and feel more satisfied after meal times. I’m also supplementing each meal with either a fruit or vegetable.
