That is the plan. I already have my associates and have soo much I want to do and see in life that I am almost hesitant to keep going right now. However, the thought of not getting a BA makes me feel inadequate. The way I was raised, I feel like I NEED to get a BA to be successful and complete in life. Yes, I know this isn’t true, but it’s something I can’t shake off. At least, if anything, I will be more well rounded educationally and be qualified to do much of what interests me. I am majoring in sports industry operations and minoring in international business as well as journalism. Eventually I want to get a certificate to be a tour agent as well. I don’t want to be in college when I am 30 so if I get it done now I will have it and can easily earn the certificate anytime down the road. My majors and minors and certificate goals make me sound like one indecisive individual, but well, when it comes to what I want to do with the rest of my life, I AM!
Next summer (as in a little less than 9 months from now) I am planning to do an 8 week journalism internship in London :) I need a 3-credit field experience educational co-op for my journalism minor, so WHY NOT!? It’s expensive, yes, but I am attending a pretty inexpensive college and besides, to me the experience will be worth every penny.
