Well, lets see, about 2 weeks ago, my PR in a race was 6.17. But then, my coach decided to try me in the 3000m race for the next meet, and I DID HORRIBLY. No lie, i even got lapped. It was like the race of shame.
Anyway, I don’t think that they are putting me back in that race, so back to the 1500. So I’ll be able to update soon :-)

Outdoor Track!

So yeah, outdoor has started last week. Maybe I’ll reach my goal?
Nobody’s in that great of shape, so now the coaches are just making us do 4 mile runs (not timed) and some speed/striding, and we have done some hill work.
Last year in outdoor, my PR was 5:59. JUST under 6 minutes. I haven’t checked to see how fast I can run it now, but I’m assuming it’s not going to be good, seeing as I didn’t do indoor this year. :-\
In conclusion: I AM SOUPED TO RUN UNDER SIX MINUTES! WOO!

Anyone know of any stretches to help my legs loosen up? I need help with like, my groin muscles (w/e they are) mostly. And how long would it take for me to be able to do a split if I stretched every day?
