How I did it: I took a realistic look at all the tv shows I "couldn't miss" every week. I discovered that several of them I just kept watching out of loyalty, when I honestly had lost interest in the storyline. So I dropped "Dexter" and "Its Always Sunny" and "Californication." When "Bored to Death" ended for the season, I gained an extra hour a week. I stopped myself before I got involved with "V" and I've taken to watching "Daily Show" highligh… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I made a conscious decision to let little things slide and to spend more time focusing on the things I love about my partner instead of the things that drive me crazy. I also let up on myself a little bit. I used to drive myself crazy, filling every minute with all the chores I "had" to get done, and not spending enough time doing things I enjoyed, both with my partner and without. Got out yesterday with my boyfriend for a nice hike on a beautiful day. Got a bit of a late start, but adjusted our hike to fit the time we had. It felt great to get back out!
