So, I’m going to sign up for Novice Hockey at our ice rink in town tomorrow. I’m kind of nervous about it. Sign up and equipment rentals are both pretty expensive and I’ve gotten a lot better at skating, but I’m still not great at it. Still, I’ve wanted to learn to play hockey for over a year now and I’m ready to jump off the cliff and do it.

How I did it: I knew I wanted the symbol of my Taekwon-Do club on my shoulder. I thought about it for several years before I got it done. I asked a couple of friends where they had theirs done, checked the place out, and made an appointment. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went to Dragon's Breath, a tobacco store in Dallas, with my friend Mike. Spent $30 on a nice pipe. It's probably way too expensive, but it's something I'm probably only going to buy once or twice in my life, so I figured it's worth it. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I waited until I knew he liked me and then I bit the bullet and asked him out. We started chatting a lot over facebook and then all our friends tried to get us together. It's great when you have the same group of friends and everyone supports the relationship. I don't think we would have both overcome our fears if everyone hadn't been 110% behind us. Also, he told me he liked me over honesty box on facebook, so I sort of knew it was a d… Read how I did it…

I seem stuck at 108 lbs. Not a bad weight, by any means. Perfectly respectable and something I could live with. I’ve lost 16 lbs . . .
But my goal was 20.
If I loose these last eight, I’ll have lost 24 lbs this year.
Now, THAT’s something to be proud of.
I’m not sure why I’ve stalled out on these last eight pounds. At least I seem to be pretty consistently at 108 and don’t fluctuate more than a couple of pounds either way.
I have a fitness re-assessment tomorrow, and hopefully I can ask my trainer how to loose a really targeted amount of weight like 8 lbs and keep it off. :-)
