How I did it: I was fortunate as the 2010 World Cup was hosted by my country, South Africa. Also I live in Durban which was a host city, just 3Km from the stadium.I applied for 5/7 games hosted in Durban, but was only sucsessful in getting tickets for the round of 16 match.Netherlands beat Slovakia 2-1 to progress to the quarter finals. How I did it: Created a list of books. I decided to concentrate on prize winning literature. So I used the Booker Prize list; the National Book Award list; the Pulitzer prize for the Novel list; the Commonwealth Writers prize; the Time 100 list; The Costa (formerly Whitbread) award and so on.
