I don’t know how long ago I did this, but recently the guy in question managed to have the luck to get me as his customer service rep when he called in to the call center where I work. We caught up briefly, and then we ended up talking online a few nights that week. I realized not only am I over him, but I am finally over what he did to me. We may even get to be friends again one day.

How I did it: A friend started dragging me out to local bars. That meant being exposed to new bands almost every weekend. Some of them I fell in love with. My original goal was to see more live music from the bands/singers I know and love, but I feel blessed to have learned that I can have an even better time seeing smaller bands with real talent. Read how I did it…
I did it. On April 19, 2007. The tattoo says “Strong at the Broken Places”. IT is from a Hemingway quote that reads: The world breaks everyone, and afterwards, many are strong at the broken places.
I pay my own living expenses, but my parents still pay the insurance on my car, which was part of the deal when they bought it for my 16th birthday. If I get back into school, I’m pretty sure that they will help with tuition…..but for the momemnt, I am financially independent. It feels great to know that I have no one to answer to but myself.
