How I did it: It took sheer determination and for once my stubborness was a virtue--I REFUSED to give up!! I studied 2 to 3 hours a day during the week--this was all I could manage while working full time. On the weekends I studied 6 to 8 hours. Wiley was my preferred reference material. Some say that Wiley contains too much information, but I think it helped my confidence going into the exam feeling that I had "over-prepared." Read how I did it…
How I did it: I voted, asked everyone around me to vote, made calls, and prayed everyday! I am so inspired by Barack Obama...it's unbelievable how he was able to bring this country together. This was a FABULOUS day and it's going to be an INCREDIBLE 4, er 8 years!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!! Read how I did it…
Well, I haven’t eaten meat in about a year…except for fish, which is why I can’t mark this goal as being done. (Because people who eat meat at all are NOT vegetarian!! I hear so many people saying, “I’m vegetarian, but I still eat chicken.” It drives me nuts. Excuse my rant, please, and read on…lol)
BUT, anyway, I have a question for you all. I donate blood on a regular basis, but the last 4 times I’ve gone in to donate, I’ve been turned away because I have low iron. I’ve been taking iron supplements and a multi-vitamin to no avail…my iron is still low. Do any of you have the same problem? I asked my doc what I could do and she told me to eat meat. Ew! Not an option. I know there are plenty of healthy vegetarians out there…and I’m hoping that they’ll have some tips for me!!
Thanks!
CA scores out…
That’s it…I’m DONE!!!!! Thanks to everyone for all of your support!! Good luck to everyone else :)
