LARPing used to be my nerd limit. The one thing that I wouldn’t do so that I could say “Well, I might pretend to be a Star Wars character on Facebook, and I might be able to pontificate on basically any sort of obscure Elder Scrolls minutia that could be imagined and I may write Johnny Storm/Peter Parker slash (that I never finish, but whatever) but at least I don’t LARP!”

Then a friend of mine invited me to an old World of Darkness Werewolf LARP that she was involved in, and I thought “Meh, everything’s worth trying once.”

Yeah. Then I got into it pretty bad. Because it’s awesome and truckloads of fun. Everyone’s awesome for the most part and it’s not EXCEPTIONALLY dorky and over all it’s a great time.

Now I’ll just have to say “Well, at least I’m not addicted to WORLD OF WARCRAFT OH SNAP!!!” for all that. Because at least I get out of the house.

enjoy the "free hugs" campaign
Free hugs from cute Japanese girls? Of course!

When I was in Tokyo a month or so ago there were some people giving out free hugs in Harajuku. How could I resist that? It was so cool. I got a hug from a cute Japanese chick, and my brother got a hug from the Elijah Wood lookin’ dude.

It’s cool to see that the Free Hugs thing has spread as far as Japan.

scan my doodles
Dooooodle!!

Yep, finally got my doodles all done and scanned. I don’t know why I kept this on here for so long. But it’s pretty much done. Just a few more scraggling things that are laying around and I’ll be completely caught up.

Most of them aren’t uploaded yet, and lots of them are just plain not any good. Once I get everything all cropped and cleaned I’ll upload them for posterity’s sake.
