It occurs to me that in order to know what you want to do, you have to really know who you are. So I’ve been working on clearing out all the static (all the things people tell you that may or may not be true, but are probably not useful) and just getting in touch with myself, with my roots, with my own thoughts and desires.
Maybe the answer lies in childhood? Who knows?
I can’t imagine a city as extraordinary and colorful and classy and exquisite as Lisbon. The buildings have that very Iberian weathered look, the young people are sexy and the older people are formidable, and it is at once provincial and urban. Paradise, paradise, paradise: although I hear the cost of living is on the rise.
I’ve read 80 books in the past 12 months, so I think I can mark this one as done. Ah, college.
Now to keep this habit up…
