I’m 19 and have never been overweight but after my first year in college i was around 130ish (i’m 5’5’‘) which i wasn’t too happy about.
The sure way to lose the 15 pounds like i did is to count calories (it sucks but it helps a lot) but also make sure the calories you’re eating are good ones… like instead of ice cream go for frozen yogurt. I use thedailyplate.com to log and calculate my calories
On top of this you need to exercise EVERY DAY. if you’re serious about losing wait 3 times a week doesn’t cut it. do at least 30 minutes of cardio every day (elliptical trainer or treadmill is best) and make sure your heartrate is up the whole time. Then you should do ab exercises every other day and light weight lifting on the days you’re not doing abs.
it sounds like a frustrating process but i saw results in about 2 months and have never seen my body change so much… so good luck!
p.s. starving yourself won’t work, i promise

so my last entry was a year ago… i still haven’t stopped and my hair is definitely getting thinner…. i’ve tried fake nails, i’ve tried cutting them, i’ve tried everything… does anyone else have any tips on other ways to keep my hands away from my head?

anyone who is starving themselves at all should stop now unless they want to guarantee themselves a slow metabolism and pounds that will never come off in the future.
starving yourself will only work if you’re only planning on living for another like 3 years… after that you’re gonna die or need to start eating again, and by then your metabolism will be slower than a 40 year olds
so please be healthy everyone. i ate pizza, pasta, etc, the whole time i was dieting and i still got down to 115 pounds.

i’ve been a vegetarian for almost 2 years and i feel great, but everyone is trying to convince me to stop. haha o well, i’m gonna stick with it, and for anyone that’s having trouble staying vegetarian, keep with it! It’s really worth it.

I’ve been scratching my head for years now and it’s getting really bad. I had no idea other people were trying to stop too, it’s kind of cool. I’ve been going crazy, so any tips would be extremely helpful. I’ve already cut my nails really short andi still can’t stop.
