Why do many of us accept our lot? Crappy job, lifestyle not as we’d like and finances less than desirable; yet because the situation is what it is most of us just plod along doing what we’ve always done.
I made my list here on 43Things because I want to make changes to my life. I am struggling but I am a fighter and the eternal optimistic. With time on my hands after being made redundant, I’ve found you get a lot of thinking time but for me I had the eureka moment (or so I thought). Hmm (not sharing that moment with you please don’t be offended)
So you try to share your idea….lol
What I have found is that there are many who are prepared to continue
to struggle. Please don’t get me wrong we are all free to live the way you want to. Take Note: Once in a while ….To Good To Be True can happen… Not often but it happens I am the one that will MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE.
I had to make this entry so that I don’t have it swirling in my head anymore… done!
If I took my camera out more often, I would capture more moments like my ‘splash of colour’ taken on a drizzly afternoon by Camden Lock in London.
Why this picture? Because I captured it without any planning, but just by picking up my camera and seeing what was out there.
Whether the weather be fine,
Or whether the weather be not,
Whether the weather be cold,
Or whether the weather be hot,
We’ll weather the weather
Whatever the weather,
Whether we like it or not!
So… what’s the excuse? There aren’t any.
My own front door key, my own front door, my own space. Yes it’s an investment…but it’s oh so much more than that… It’s not much to ask and I am not talking a cramped abode either! lol
Hmm.. I have all the want to complete this course, but I find it so hard to focus. I awoke around 5.45am went back to sleep woke again around 7am back to bed at 8am woke again 10am and then got up 1pm. Writing this brings up the sense of shame as I have nothing else to do but to focus. Ok that’s enough self beating and although I found the most stupidest things to do… I did manage to complete a task that I had set.
I will do better and I have done well to acknowledge my achievement, it is more than what I had done yesturday which was nothing. I know that this is only the tip of the iceberg, but this iceberg once conquered will mark a major turning point in my life.
I love my current camera which is a Nikon D50… but I would love to upgrade to either a D300 or D3 (lol) D700. Anyone who knows about cameras now those are not half bad.
I enrolled on the pMemory course in 2007 and I have never completed it. This has been due to so many things that have gone on in my personal life.
It is now 20 past 12 in the morning GMT and I have come to the conclusion that procrastination is a major problem, and decided if I kept some sort of record of how I was progressing it may help keep me focused. I need to complete this course before the end of June 2011 which is more than 60 days.
NO TO MY PROCRASTINATION.
YES TO BEING TOTALLY FOCUSED!
