My kids are supposed to bring one of Dad’s old socks to kindergarten next week; they’re going to be filled with sweets from Nikolaus (6.12.).
Since most these socks seem to have huge holes (and the more I throw away, the more socks with holes appear, it seems), I had to come up with something different and more colourful.
I was a lot of fun to make, even though it could have been done a lot faster (smarter, but well, I’m still learning these things).
I hope my children will like them.

Yesterday morning, my daughter (5) started to ask questions again, which sometimes can go on and on and on… But this time it got interesting. =)
Andrea: Mama, why is it that Pinocchio can move when he is made out of wood?
Me: Well, the fairy gave him the ability to walk and talk.
Andrea: Oh I get it: he’s running on batteries!
;-)
Watch out Santa! This little girl will soon discover who’s hiding underneath that beard… ;-)

It took a while and now I can start making lists and prepare the decoration. I’m already looking forward to seeing them all again.
