I’m from Manila, and i’m a musical theatre actor here. I could say I’m one of the lucky ones – I’m always employed, worked with almost every major theatre company here, I’ve gotten some pretty interesting roles, and I’m slowly carving a name for myself in the theatre scene. But i know that there’s a whole different world out there that i want to experience. My biggest dream is to perform on Broadway or the West End. But i know that the only way i can do that is to first study Musical Theatre in a reputable school in NYC on London.

So what’s stopping me? Funds. I’ve looked through websites of the schools I want to go to, and I found that I’m never gonna be able to afford the fees for these schools. And then, there’s plane fare, and living expenses. I’m totally willing to work after school to earn for my expenses, but I don’t even have the money to get myself started.

Someday, I’m gonna be able to do this. For now, the most I can do is save, and rack up some good entries for my resume. (I’m gonna be in Repertory Philippines’ production of Sweeney Todd that opens in a month!)

Ok, this is where i'm at right now... 2 months ago

I’ve been going to the gym for about a year now, and i rather enjoy it. But i’d like to be more faithful with my gym visits, because i feel that i’m not getting the most out of it. There was a time i would go 4 or 5 times a week, but now i get lazy, or i’m too busy – but if i really wanted to do something, i’d find time to do it, right? So i’m gonna go to the gym 3 times a week. I vow to go three times a week.
