So, I definitely fell off on my goal about three months ago. Christmas came around, then New Year’s, and I never started up my exercise routine again. I think part of it was the intensity and the other part was the fact that I hadn’t seen any real results after a month and a half.
Well, last month I hit the weight that I’d been avoiding all this time: 150lbs. Actually, I was a little higher 151.5. That did it for me. Since last month, I’ve found ways to cut out tons of unnecessary calories and I’ve been working out for 4-5 days a week.
Since the beginning of April, I’ve lost 6 pounds! I feel great, I’m totally psyched, and I only have 9 more to go to reach my goal!

so, I haven’t exactly been updating as regularly as I thought, but at least I have good news….I haven’t given up! Yeap…it’s been nearly a month – the longest I’ve ever stuck to a routine – and I’m still going strong.
only one little dilemma: holiday season. it’s a time of food, fun, and lethargy. I’m thinking of giving myself Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off, but honestly I’d rather take off the whole week off, lol. (I make it sound like work, don’t I?)
anyways, I’m still going strong…hopefully this season treats me well ;D

well, so far so good, I think. except yesterday.
you see, thing was, I had plenty of time and opportunity to exercise. I had hours and hours to myself and, of course, nothing entirely pressing to contend with. yet, I found a way to not exercise. how can this be? I had been doing so well. I’m not sure if this is the beginning of the end of my exercise regimine or more motivation to get my butt movin’ =P
I know I’m in control of what I do. I’m really, reaaaally trying to get into the mindset of exercising NOT being a hassle, but I have to admit – it’s not easy.
“will she do it?”
we’ll see…on Thursday =P
