Unsticky-ing the red tape...

I found out something interesting today. If I have a certificate from an acknowledged training institution saying that I have registered and paid for a course on offer and can prove that I have enough pocket money to sustain myself during the duration of the course, it’s easy to get a visa for the UK! I think I’m going to go that route. It seems the least complicated of all the possible options.

I’ve also decided to buy myself a scooter. Even considering high fuel prices, it’ll be a cheaper, more versatile mode of transport than having to rely on buses, trains and my own two feet! That said, I’ll have to rely on my own two feet a LOT, too! But at least I won’t be dependent on other people’s schedules as much…

The scooter itself will not be cheap, as I plan to buy it new. On top of that, I’ll have to get kitted out literally from top to toe in riding gear! The upside to this is that I won’t be needing as much clothes, as I shall be wearing riding leathers (or the equivalent) most of the time! And my riding jacket can double as a warm, weatherproof jacket as well!

I am beginning to like this idea…

It actually works!

Don’t tell my mom – but doing flylady missions actually DOES help keep my place (almost) presentable! At least now getting my apartment presentable involves merely a quick swish and swipe as opposed to a massive panic attack and a full-scale decluttering process! (Although I’m currently busy with that, too!)
