I am a photographer and an artist who has made many of my works available freely for others to use and enjoy.
The time has come that I need an income, and it is from my efforts that I can get an income so I need to work out how to get an income from my work.
I have to put some payment on my sites. I have already done that using Paypal, but there have not been any free choice payments….I tried setting a set amount, but that has not worked either.
I have to set fees for the Courses I create, and also sell my art as downloads.
This is my goal for 2007 as soon I will need to live off my efforts s I will not be able to work.
I want an income from the Internet to supplement my daily needs and living expenses

When I was in my early twenties..I wrote series of English Books for my class. My superior used my stories to create a series of Readers that were to do quite well. My name was not on any of them.
In later years I was to write Curriculums and Courses for my classes..these were taken by the Principal and Head Teachers and used in the school, but my name was never on them.
As I got older, I learnt to start insisting my work be used with acknowledgement, or I would not let it be available, and grudgingly this was done in some places. There was no kickback, and in some cases, I was criticized for the curriculum that I had written, even though it was being used, but I let it be, and rewrote, and amended, as it suited my classes.

Last Year I started writing English Courses and aimed them specifically at the text and the courses I have been teaching. The ‘Boss’ did nothing but complain, and he even warned me to make sure I kept records, as I could be asked to explain what I was doing and why…..when the students failed.
Of course, the students have done better than all the other students, and suddenly my courses are wanted. He wants to add them to the Uni Site…as his courses….I am not happy about that…as they are my work and I have spent hours…as usual doing them.
He has pointed out that Moodle is developed to be ‘free for all’ but my point is that, if he wants to download my work for his site..I should be recognized as the author, and maybe given some credit for writing these courses.

I want my efforts recognized….if he uses my Courses, I want him to say he is using my Courses.
