grow out my bangs
Such a relief! 2 years ago

It’s funny how you get bangs and love them, then after a couple years they get incredibly annoying! I had the side swept kind and boy, did they get annoying. They also take for-ev-er to grow. I think I probably waited 18 mos. until they were finally long enough to pull back without pins.

Although I am free from the nagging sensation of bangs in my face, I do miss how they looked in pictures :( Ah well. I don’t miss them enough to get them cut again, that’s for sure!

get my hair back to it's natural color
pretty simple ordeal if you have dark hair 2 years ago

I have pretty dark hair and had been getting it highlighted for ~10 years. I hated when the highlights would grow out and I would have a line where my natural color started. I had the stylist use gloss (a haircolor that doesnt use any lighteners to strip the hair of its color) to blend the ‘line’ so it’s less noticeable and have been growing my hair out for a few months now and love that I don’t have to worry about re-highlighting it every month!
