I just got my machine, but since it’s a present, I will let my daughters wrap the box and put it under the tree. My sewing adventures will officially begin after the holidays. In the meantime, I have been absorbing every free sewing lesson and tutorial video I can find on the internet, and feel confident already!

How I did it: I participated in an online 30-day raw food challenge with a group of people. The first 2 days were committed to a lemon water detox. I did lots of research online about raw food and collected and tried lots of different recipes. I lost about 7 pounds my second week in, and I noticed my skin and eyes looked brighter. Not only did I stop eating all flesh foods, I also stopped eggs and dairy. I am on Day 4 of a raw foods challenge for 30 days. I drink lots of fruit/veggie smoothies and eat lots of salads. There are some really amazing recipes for raw food out there, so everyday is a new taste sensation. I have lost 1.5 pounds in 4 days, and my skin has a healthier texture and glow. So far, so good!
