I signed up for a hand quilting class and am in love with the whole creative process now. I will probably start machine quilting in December – I want to wait for my birthday before I buy a sewing machine. I’m really excited to have a hobby where I’m making something tangible as a finished product,

How I did it: I changed epilepsy medications and dropped 70 pounds in the course of a year. I'd been on the same epilepsy medication for over 20 years and when I first went on it at age 14 I gained 60 pounds. I'd tried other epilepsy meds over the years, but nothing was ever as effective in stopping the seizure activity until Zonesamide came out. I’m in a hand-quilting class and really enjoying it! We’re doing a little wall hanging thing, not a full size quilt, but I feel like this is a great impetus for actually starting a full quilt at some point soon.
...but I think I’m okay, looking at what is currently on the TBR pile.
