...and we’re at the last stage of the Visa process. We’ve been waiting for an interview date with the US Embassy in London since mid October. We’re really hoping he’ll be here for xmas or at the very latest, New Year’s.

How I did it: We filled out a ton of paperwork, mailed it...waited......waited.......WAITED....petition approved! Waited.....waited.....called...grumbled...packet three was delivered and filled out...sent that back....waited......waited...celebrated Halloween, Xmas, New Years and Valentine's day with thousands of miles between us....Interview date assigned...waited....APPROVED! Waited....fiance arrived. Eesh! Read how I did it…
We got engaged on April 25, 2008…and sent our Petition for the K1 Visa in to USCIS on May 1st. Now it’s just a waiting game. According to the website, they’re processing mid-March petitions so it shouldn’t be too long of a wait I hope. WOOT!
My hunnie took me to Scarborough on my visit to England December 2007. Beautiful castle, even if it is in pieces. The energy of it was almost tangible. I especially liked that we could walk inside the castle up off the wood decking they had. We took some beautiful pictures! Definitely was a memorable experience!
