Yay! Fresh air! No cockroaches! Etc.
I miss NYC a little, but I’m so happy I got out. It’s the second half of the immigrant dream: first, get to New York, second, get the hell out.

We seem to have gotten the roach problem under control. I’m sure there are still some around, but I haven’t seen any in a long time. That’s good enough for me! Knocking on wood.
My cats are on their way to me right now. While there are serious drawbacks to this, namely that I have a tiny apartment and they are used to living with free access to the outdoors, I am so happy that I finally get to have the cats again. Plus we have a little mouse problem and they will take care of that in no time.
