This one is definitely a challenge. Soccer season will make it easier. I’ve been up early a few days to go for a run, but I totally want to do more.
Just laying the groundwork I guess!

How I did it: Switching from whole blood to plasma made it a lot easier to get a rhythm down donating blood. Donating plasma means you can donate every 2 weeks instead of every 10. It also means you can potentially help 15 people instead of 3. The Australian Red Cross even sends you a text message a couple of days before your appointment so you don't forget. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I signed up to giving blood when I was 16. I didn't have any reason to get into except for the milkshake and sausage roll at the end of it. If some chicks noticed my awesome compassion that would be alright too. But 8 years on I'm still doing it and only for the warm fuzzy feeling it gives inside. 15 minutes is soooo easy!
My mum actually got some calender that has a schedule of cleaning to keep your house sparklely. It’s also 15 mins a day – except that it breaks things down into daily jobs, weekly jobs and monthly jobs – it’s great! Definitely be borrowing it’s to-do lists!
This is great! Besides a few slip ups when it was really necessary, I’ve been really good at sticking to this goal.
I had my first training session for soccer yesterday. It made me remember how many I missed last year because I was at work. Not this year!
Actually, I spent about a couple of hours either side of work helping one of my dad’s friends. He was having trouble learning how to use his security camera software. I helped him with absolutely no expectation of compensation and I have to say – it’s a great feeling. In the grand scheme of things it’s really not a big deal, but it’s nice to look back at your day and think “hey, I did something to make someone else’s life a little easier simply BECAUSE I COULD”. Time to make a new goal!
