I miss being home. I work too much. My daughter will be outta the house and living her own independent life before I know it and I don’t want to miss her…....I already miss her. My husband and I see each other about 2 hours per day during the week – this has to change -I miss him as well.

I’m so tired of slaving away to make billable hours, reporting to “partners” and essentially doing their bidding despite the effect it will have on my own life. I’ve looked into starting my own practice and its terrifying. My sister is betting that I won’t last the year at my current firm…...easy for her to say when I’m SO far into student loan and house debt that I can barely breathe. Hubby and I are working on financial “projections” and seeking a way to let me start my own practice, hang my own shingle, be my own boss…....
