Warning, this entry is a downer. Failing miserably at this one today. I have broken down so many times it is just not funny. I am once again struggling to get over this fear of failure I have with assignments. It is due in two days and I have changed my topic for the 4th time. I am getting really scared that I am not going to have my assignment done on time. I have never missed a deadline and don’t really want to start now as it is worth 30%. Why did I sign up for uni, I feel like I am never going to get through, and if I do, then I will have no self esteem left. God I need help.

I did it, last night I cooked the almighty roast (with help from my partner). Hmmm, I have to admit it was not half as good as mum’s, but then against she has had a lot more experience at this that I have. My partner and I didn’t get food poisoning so that was a plus, but it just didn’t seem to be that good. I think this will require a fair bit of practice. I also think that for the amount of effort one needs to put in, especially with all the washing up afterwards (we don’t have a dishwasher), it was a bit of an anti-climax. I won’t say that it is not worth doing, but, I don’t think that it will become a ‘must-have’ weekly or monthly dinner. Maybe I will change my mind when the winter month’s start creeping up in about 6-8 months.
Well, this is looking more and more like a possibility. I have just gotten one of my buddies to come along with me on the ‘learn to surf’ day (Dec 10th). This will be so much fun. I think I will be falling off the board more than I will be standing. But, hey, it will be so nice to laugh and catch some sun. Next issue, need to get to the gym, and get some funky swimmers. If I can’t actually surf, I may as well look the part. hahaha.
