I got the grade I was waiting on today and can finally say that in my last semester of my undergraduate career, I had a 4.0 semester! I’m so excited and proud that I was finally able to do it.

How I did it: I hadn't been seriously trying to save money for some time, but decided this year that I wanted to have this goal done. I had put money aside last summer after my summer job and was good about leaving it alone. I usually would take a little out at a time and before I knew it, my savings would be down to $500. How I did it: I applied to four schools as a senior in high school and got accepted to three. My top choice was an out of state school, and when I received their acceptance letter, I also received a half-tuition scholarship that made it a very affordable school. How I did it: I had tried really hard to make this goal happen, but fell a little short. I relied on foods I had to make meals, only buying produce when I needed it, but I still ended up with some food leftover. I plan on donating all of the unopened cans and boxes and taking the leftover spices and frozen foods home for my parents to use. We moved into a new house this spring and my room is still a mess and way too crowded! Plus, I need to move my stuff from my college apartment back into the house. A lot of that will need to go into storage or be donated.
Even thought grades were “due” by the professors yesterday, I have one professor who hasn’t posted grades yet. I think I got an A, but I’m waiting to mark this as done until I hear for sure.
