How to paint something

How I did it: I broke out the acrylics, and sketched out a design. Then I mixed colors and painted! I persevered and worked with basic colors and basic shapes. I wanted something that could have a significance greater than what is seen immediately, and I think I accomplished that. I know it's basic, but there are nuances. How to learn to swim

How I did it: I got into the water and lifted my feet. I was given some small advice on how to kick my legs, hold my head and how to move my arms.I've been practicing on and off for years. I sort of ... failed lessons when I was 6 and gave up, but eventually got tired of life jackets and the shallow end of the pool.  =) Read how I did it…

I cooked the meal for Jenny, but also for my brother. I’m going to count it as one more toward my goal, though.

It was a nice, simple meal. Strips of pork cooked stir-fry style with red and yellow peppers and zucchini, with a bed of quinoa to accompany it.

Very healthy!

I've begun earning tip money at work. 3 weeks ago

And I’m resolved to put every bill I bring home from work toward it, assuming that all my other bills are paid (and they should be, with my wage earnings and my student loan).

This may actually happen!

The trouble is that when I get close to paying it off, I charge plane tickets to the card and go on vacation. I have to stop being so indulgent.
