I was thinking...

.. maybe I should update the list. The top 100 changes. I may be watching movies that are not on teh list. I think I’ll update it everytime a movie on my list gets bumped of the current one….. as soon as I can get my printer working….

I've seen a few more

FINALLY saw Shawshank Redemption. I liked it, but I can’t say it’s the best movie ever made. I think it’s a little over rated.

Lawrence of Arabia – One of the best biopics I’ve seen. I barely new anything about this man prior to watching the movie, but I was engrossed. I found the Middle Eastern theme to be somewhat timely, and very educational.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind – A fantastic concept, that I think they didn’t fully deliver on. Slightly over rated as well.

The Manchurian Candidate – The Frank Sinatra film I was worried about. It was actually very good. A thriller with an excellent and original idea. Very entertaining.

High Noon – The Western I was woried about watching. Also immensley entertaining. This may have been one of the deepest movies I’ve seen. About a man who gets abondoned by the town he once saved. It makes you think about society and you’re place in it. A movie that makes you think on a different level is a great movie in my book.

Annie Hall – Not a big Woddy Allen fan. He’s funny at times, but I usually find his movies a little dull. Overall not a bad movie though. I did laugh out loud once or twice.

Overall I’ve now seen 60 out of 100!! I have 3 or 4 more on my Tivo, City of God (Cidade de Deus) – a foreign film I never even heard, North by Northwest – would’ve been my third Hancock film in a month, but my cable screwed up Vertigo and Rear Window about halfway through., American History X – my middle brother (who has horrible taste in movies) told me this was a great movie. So of course I never watched it., TReeasure of the Sierra Madre – Bogie. Can’t wait to see this one, Mr Smith Goes to Washingotn – I love Jimmy Stewart. This is one of the few big movies e starred in that I haven’t sen. I like the rest of them, I have high hopes for thois one as well.

Putting it off for a few months

I decided to hold off until after the holidays, just in case. The things I’ve learned in my research have been very helpful. The Stockquest experiment was going extrememly well. I learned a lot through that as well. Can’t wait to start making some REAL money.
