I’m a junior in high school, and I’ve been torn thinking about what I want to with my life, what I want to go to college for, et cetera—I really love English, but I also love film, and I’ve been back and forth a thousand times.
Today in English class, however, my teacher basically lectured us about how are so many opportunities in technology and we’ll all have wonderful happy lives with big houses and cars and everything if we go in that direction. She said we’d be out of our minds to try to be an English teacher.
...which finally convinced me that I want to be an English teacher. xD
