Today is the day for change

I’ve made enough excuses. It’s been almost three years since I’ve been able to wear my wedding ring (since I was 5 months pregnant with my last child, Juliana, who just turned 2!)

I weigh 67 lbs more than I did when I met my husband 6 years ago, and I want to be healthy again, and not obsessed over every bump and extra curve anymore! I used to weigh 185 (since I’m 5’10 that was actually fairly thin), only 10 lbs over the healthy weight for my height. Now I’m 252 lbs, and it’s just gotten ridiculous.

So, starting today I am on a 1500 calorie diet and Tom and I have started walking every night for 30 minutes or so.

I can’t wait to wear all my old clothes again! Wish me luck!
