I am my best friend’s matron of honor. She is getting married tomorrow and I can say I really enjoyed it. Planning everything and PAYING for so much did take a toll on me though. You end up spending money on so much more than what you think you will, and I split some of the costs with the other bridesmaids. Paying for the shower, the bachelorette party, dress, alterations, shoes, hair, nails, many gifts since you will be attending all of the showers, are some of the things you will be paying for. I really loved being my best friend’s matron of honor because we are such good friends but I would only do it for someone extremely close to me. You spend a lot of time with them!!
