I’ve had the same hairstyle for about 6 years now, time for a change. It’s always been a longer style bob, halfway between my chin and shoulders. Well, I’d like a change- for the longer. Just to see if I would like it and for something new. Now, I don’t want it too long- just below my collarbone or a bit longer. So, I’m looking at about 8 inches, which should take me 16 months (wow, that’s a long time!) but hopefully less. I’m going to stop straightening/highlighting my hair so it doesn’t break so easily. I’ve been taking biotin pills and I’m thinking it help a little. I talked to my hair stylist and told her my plan and to not let me come in on a whim to cut it when I get annoyed with it. This is a no fail because I won’t go to anyone else but her. I recommend this trick!

How I did it: Focus on my emotions, why I'm eating a particular food at a given moment. Be aware of what I'm buying and know my "trigger" foods. Also, I use to eat out. . .a lot. This contributed a large amount of calories and expenses. Read how I did it…
I’m 5’9 at 153 pounds. Normal, average.
I had a case of the flu which but me at 148. And let me tell you, it wasn’t worth it. I’ve struggled with eating/body image issues for years and it’s time to let that part of me go. I feel at 23, I need to start believing in myself a bit more. At my lowest, not eating for days, I was 135. It was a struggle to get there, so I figure, 143 is an excellent place for me to maintain. It was my weight in high school as well.
Hopefully, through planned eating and exercise, I can do it. I’m not going to take pills, fast, or anything else crazy. I want to do it right, which means taking my time so it will last and I don’t gain it back.
I totally screwed myself over with those preapproved credit card offers. While I was in college, I opend up FOUR different cards, I had no clue what I was getting myself into. I spend and spend for lots of reasons, all of which I have now realized (low self-esteem, depression). And now, I’m paying for it- in more ways than one.
I’m a bit bitter- it’s ashame credit card companis prey on young students who don’t have the first clue about credit cards/credit scores. It takes YEARS to fix the mistakes you made and can affect so many aspects of your life. I’m seriously thinking my life mission should be teaching college students about the dangers of these offers so they don’t suffer like I have. I was even fortuante enough to have my parents pay for college so I could’ve graduated with now debt. Now, I’m look at 12K because I took out student loans to pay off the cards.
Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda.
