How I did it: I was forced to use the program. Don't get me wrong, it was the program of my choice and a good one, but the task was large and overwhelming. Not just learning the new program, but also untangling a years worth of accounting for 30 rental properties, while healing from a pretty intense surgery. How I did it: You put head down, putting one foot in front of the other and take one step after another... For me, I like to make lists of projects, then, break the projects down into smaller bite sized pieces. That way I'm not overwhelmed by the task as a whole. Fairly simple logic and plan.. I’ve healed from a 2 level cervical fusion, untangled my QuickBooks nightmare, gone through my house from top to bottom and de-cluttered, along with keeping up with all the various other daily mundane chores and responsibilities this year. I’ve even cleaned out the garage & my closet last weekend. Keeping mental track of the small and large helps me to know that I am making progress and even slow progress is good progress. So… I’ma happy camper.
