It took about 10 years of trying, but I finally wrote one I liked. You’ll never hear it on the radio (or probably ever), but it’s more important that I did it and am happy with it. For anyone trying, I would say write it for yourself and no other reward. If classify your songs as “Good” by others reactions and opinions, you’ll never write a good song.
