I actually understand German. My husband is very German. His mom and dad arrived here only 4 weeks before he was born. He didn’t speak English until he was 8 years old. He still speaks fluent German. We have been to Germany a few times and when we are visiting his relatives, they only speak German. I have learned to understand German, but my American/Texas accent prevents me from really pronouncing things so that real Germans can understand it. I have been working on it though and am doing better.

London
London had been a life long dream of mine. In 2000 I finally realized that dream when my husband and I planned a trip to Germany to visit his uncle. We made a four day stop in London and I fell in love with the city, the country and the people. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. The four days were crammed with sight seeing. I would love to go back with more time to spend and also be able to see the country side.
Embroidery machine

Yep, my husband bought me an embroidery machine. I have played with it, but would really like to put it to good use. I have made a few nice gifts, but would like to make really beautiful things. So, I am really working hard on it now.
