It took me over a year but it was well worth it. Nicole is still slowly recovering from the accident. She is an inspiration to me every day.

I have been given a task at work to write up some support documents. I’m taking the opportunity to learn more about technical writing & to re-write the rules for my lrp system.
It really needs a lot of work & I’m not waiting any longer for someone else to do it. I’m not that great at writing so I think this will be a good challenge, not quite as hard as trying to do the culture stuff that really needs to be well written. The rules do to but they don’t need as much flavour.
So far I have started by creating a rundown everything we have & re-ordering it so that it makes more sense. Also adding in all the topics that we don’t currently have but should. Also developing a standard for the way our skills will be listed, which should help point out some of the holes.
It’s been fun so far
I’ve now gone on 2 practice rides into the city. The first was a failure because it took 2 hours & was much harder than I’m ready for as an everyday thing. The second root seemed much better as it took around an hour & was a quite pleasant ride. I’ll try again on Thursday & hopefully be ready to start riding every day next week.
