I am seasonaly employed with a tax office so April 15 I will be out of work again. I have been looking everyday for a job for the past couple of months and have gotten tons of rejection letters. I have even applied with all the temp agencies in town, and nothing so far. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I have education and experience in the field I am applying, but can’t even get an interview. I landed a great internship last summer, and was up against 20 people or so. What’s changed….other than more experience added to my resume. I guess half the town being unemployed now might have something to do with it..ha.
I couldn’t sleep last night because I was worried about telling a woman I found an error on her state return before I filed it. I thought she would be angry since it was not in her favor. As it turned out she thanked me for taking the time to review it, and told me she would come to me next year. A whole evening of my life wasted worrying needlessly.
