In July, I did a little hiking in the Finger Lakes region of New York. We hiked up the gorges and waterfalls in several parks and it was VERY fun. If I hadn’t lost all this weight and started running, I probably would’ve passed out! I definitely want to get more into hiking in the future.

I lost a person!

I still can’t believe I’ve actually lost this much weight. I hit this goal on October 3, 2007, and I’ve jumped around a bit since then but I weighed in at my 110-loss weight this morning. My life has completely changed. I went from an obese couch potato (for years and years) to a healthy, fit runner. I even coach running now!

I ran the VA Beach Rock-n-Roll Half Marathon on September 2, 2007. It was so much fun, even though it was tough. I ran the whole thing, and my time was 2:32:52. I’ll run this race every year!
