just as a note for anyone looking for a little written guidance I have found a lot of great tools and articles on this site, including a checklist and budgeter (although the budget allocation isnt exactly realistic in some areas when you input a small budget – like saying you have $15 for groom’s shoes and accessories…HAH!)
Anyhow the checklist is great and you can input your own to-do’s that may not be on the list as well. Also lots of articles to answer your planning questions and blahblahblah, just check it out

I paid for my dress today and took it home, or rather to my mom’s house to be kept there.
Aren’t I supposed to be excited about the whole dress-dealy?
I’m not.
Am I the only person who doesn’t care about a gown I’m gonna wear once in my life?

Joined the YMCA last night with my fiance
Went this morning at 6:30am for my first workout. It’s gonna be 6:30am gym-ness 5 days a week now…I really gotta get motivated on losing some of this stupid weight. He’s gonna alter days: weights one day, cardio the next, so that I can still go every day and do my same routine… since I’m going for weight loss and he’s going for muscle gain, we’ve got different workout schedules.
Over the next couple days we’ve gotta eat all the shitty food in the house, so when I go grocery shopping there’s no more junk food (and it won’t have to go to waste either) I guess we could just think of it as a last-time food splurge. Hamburger helper for dinner tonight.
After all the crap food’s gone: no more potatoes, only brown rice, whole wheat pasta, whole wheat or multigrain bread, only fresh fruit or non-shitty cereal for breakfast, lots of vegetables, no more buying pop, no more sugared juice, lots of water. At least working out helps with making sure we drink water.
