Callista Barrett doesn't have anything on their life list yet…
How I did it: Today I hosted a dress making party at my house and invited my mother and mother-in-law and some friends to join me.We each sewed one pillowcase dress which I will be sending to Morgan Hill Foursquare church (near San Jose). They were making a bunch of these dresses with their VBS program and I wanted to contribute. I would have been able to do more if we had another sewing machine...and if we had better seamstresses at our disposal >.… Read how I did it…
How I did it: My mother and I pretty much did everything ourselves. Lots of magazines, hunting for bargains, utilizing friends from church, and PRAYING non stop!Once I settled on my color scheme things started to fall into place. I chose Teal, Black, White, and Lime Green. I don't care much for flowers so my major centerpiece component was peacock flowers! :)It turned out beautiful! :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: My fiance got me an interview at his work, and i literally had four and a half days to get my site & resume up to date. While I didn't get that job, I've since had several other opportunities present themselves!God is good ;) Read how I did it…

I decided to choose a location that was all inclusive…and it’s amazing how much easier everything seems now. It’s a bit more towards the pricier side…but there are SOOOO many details that I no longer need to worry about. They give me options to choose from on everything. I just point and choose. My major decisions now are just flower arrangements.
I currently have a cheesy little flash site up…but it hardly represents me as a professional. It screams Art Student.
I need to come up with something that displays my work properly and describes the kind of work I do.
Maybe then I can start selling prints of my artwork for some extra cash!
