It’s been 8 months since I made the last entry on this goal, and the financial crisis is even more intense than it was then.

Bill passed away on April 21st. We saw him on the 20th, and we’re prety sure he knew we were there.
Our daughter is doing better finally, but it’s been so tough for her.
Thanks for your many prayers.
So I haven’t been on here in months. It’s been a very, very challenging year for our family, something that makes me think of Job’s trials.
1. Our son-in-law’s illness.
2. Losing my second job because of a conflict of interest that developed with my first job.
3. Our son-in-law passed away in April.
4. Financial problems worsen as no job can be found that provides enough money.
5. My dad suddenly is taken ill with acute leukemia, we rush from Michigan to his bedside in Arizona just in time . . . that WAS awesome timing on God’s part . . . and he died FOUR days after his diagnosis.
6. Expenses there, expenses here . . .
7. The house air conditioning breaks down.
8. The car needs repair.
9. In the rainstorm we had this week, rainwater started dripping out of the soffit vent.
10. The house payment is due and there’s not enough money to make it.
Ridiculous as it seems, it seems like I’m forgetting something important in this list. Maybe I’m just tired.
So even though I put in the goal to successfully beg for money, it’s really more profitable in the long run if we just have lots of prayers said for us. There are PLENTY more people who have it worse off than we do. It’d sure be nice to get a job and make the house payment.
